The Senior Product Manager - EHR Integration is responsible for driving the strategy, prioritization, and execution of complex healthcare technology products. This role partners closely with engineering, architecture, business, and market stakeholders to translate customer and business needs into scalable, high-quality solutions. The Senior Product Manager operates with solid technical acumen, ensures disciplined product execution, and focuses on delivering measurable customer and user outcomes while advancing product maturity.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy & Direction
    • Translates product strategy into clear product-level goals, problem statements, and outcomes
    • Executes technical product commercialization and growth, including go-to-market readiness, customer adoption strategies, and post-launch optimization to drive measurable business outcomes
    • Partners with stakeholders to shape outcome-based roadmaps aligned to customer and business needs
    • Develops deep understanding of users, workflows, and market segments to inform prioritization decisions
    • Contributes customer, market, and competitive insights to inform strategic tradeoffs
  • Roadmap Ownership, Prioritization & Delivery
    • Owns the product roadmap and backlog for assigned product areas
    • Drives prioritization across the Product Development Roadmap, Product Backlog, and Sprint Backlog
    • Ensures delivery sequencing maximizes customer value and learning
    • Partners with engineering and business leads to define and measure OKRs
    • Evaluates delivery progress and recommends adjustments to scope or approach
  • Technical Product Leadership & Architecture Alignment
    • Serves as the primary product partner to engineering and architecture teams
    • Translates product intent into clear requirements and acceptance criteria
    • Ensures adherence to industry-standard architecture and design patterns
    • Identifies opportunities for reuse, simplification, and reduction of overlap
    • Balances near-term delivery with long-term technical health
  • Agile Execution & Operational Excellence
    • Applies agile product management best practices to drive predictable delivery
    • Influences and reinforces a shared Definition of Done
    • Uses Agile Product Development tools to manage roadmaps and delivery metrics
    • Manages capacity planning in partnership with delivery leadership
    • Identifies execution risks and drives mitigation plans
  • Customer Outcomes & Product Performance
    • Owns product-level success metrics including adoption, NPS, and SUS
    • Ensures the right problems are being solved through continuous discovery and validation
    • Partners with customers to test assumptions and validate solutions
    • Drives initiatives that improve customer experience and measurable outcomes
    • Provides transparent reporting on product performance and learnings
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence
    • Collaborates effectively with engineering, architecture, business, and market stakeholders
    • Communicates product decisions, tradeoffs, and progress clearly to senior stakeholders
    • Anticipates stakeholder needs and proactively addresses misalignment
    • Diffuses conflict through data-driven and customer-centric decisioning
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (preferably in product management, analytics, information technology, computer science, healthcare administration, health sciences, or related field)
  • Overall 13+ years software experience or related industry experience
  • 6+ years in a product management or technology development role with experience in any combination of the following areas: new product development, new product launches, market sizing, roadmap creation, commercial technology and SaaS product development
  • 4+ years professional experience in healthcare, healthcare technology, or technology sectors
  • 2+ years experience in EMR integrations and interoperability (SMART on FHIR, APIs, HIE/ADT)
  • 3+ years in a role supporting clinical, quality, population health, or VBC performance optimization in any combination of the following areas: population health management, population stratification, care management, case management, care delivery, clinical delivery and optimization, clinical risk identification, or clinical coding and documentation
  • 3+ years experience building, leading, and managing highly matrixed, cross-functional initiatives, including a deep understanding of how to structure initiatives and all related operational functions
  • Experience integrating third-party and internal applications for the US healthcare market

    • Experience commercializing technical products and driving growth through adoption, lifecycle management, and data-informed iteration
    • Influences and drives prioritization across the Product Development Roadmap, Product Backlog, and Sprint Backlog
    • Ensures industry standard architecture and design patterns are followed
    • Balances business priorities with technology enablers to minimize technical debt
    • Advocates best practices, processes, and tools for agile product development
    • Expertise in Agile Product Development tools such as Aha or Rally
    • Balances subject matter expertise with business use cases and technical aptitude
