Job Description
Role: Senior Product Manager
Experience: 10–12 years
Location: New Delhi (on-site)
About the Role
SIDH serves learners, training partners, employers, assessors, and ministry officials across six national skilling schemes with a product backlog of 195+ pipeline items. The Senior Product Manager translates policy intent and user needs into a coherent, outcome-driven roadmap and is accountable for credible prioritisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Own product strategy, roadmap, and prioritisation across all scheme and shared-platform user journeys
- Define outcome measures — certification conversion, placement rates, job-matching effectiveness, registration conversion, support burden reduction
- Lead ministry and ecosystem discussions on priorities, trade-offs, scope, and sequencing
- Direct the two Product Managers; ensure backlog quality, acceptance criteria quality, and alignment to strategic outcomes
- Partner with the Head of Engineering on feasibility, architecture dependencies, and release planning
- Use analytics, ticket trends, behavioural insights, and operational pain points to drive product decisions
- Govern the 195+ pipeline backlog at portfolio level, not item level
What We Are Looking For
- Strong product leadership in a multi-stakeholder environment with complex workflows and competing priorities
- Experience defining roadmaps for platforms spanning onboarding, transactions, search and discovery, content, or marketplace-style user journeys
- Has managed a backlog of 100+ items across competing stakeholders and said no credibly
- Excellent stakeholder management and decision-framing skills; comfortable in ministry-facing settings
Good to Have
- Experience in edtech, govtech, skilling, employment marketplaces, or large public-service digital products
- Exposure to government scheme workflows, BRD processes, or ministry stakeholder management
