Job Description

Senior Product Manager — Solutions, Delivery & Intelligence

About The Role

We are a global SaaS platform powering FX, crypto and multi-asset trading for banks, brokers and digital-first financial institutions. Our platform spans thousands of touchpoints across pricing, execution, risk, and client-facing workflows — used by roughly 3,000 professional users at some of the most demanding institutions in the world. We are hiring a Senior Product Manager who can operate across three critical dimensions of our product lifecycle — gathering and documenting requirements from clients, driving execution with engineering teams, and building the analytical foundation to understand how our platform is actually used. This is a hybrid role that combines the discipline of a business analyst, the delivery rigour of a product owner, and the investigative mindset of a product intelligence lead. It will suit someone who enjoys moving between a customer discovery call, a sprint planning meeting, and a SQL query — and who believes good product decisions require all three. You will be based in Bangalore, co-located with our engineering organisation, and partnering remotely with our sales and account teams across Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Australia, Dubai, Turkey and wider MENA. Video-first client engagement is the norm, with occasional regional travel for strategic accounts.

What You Will Own

  • Solutions & Requirements (Business Analysis)

You will be the primary interface between our customers, the sales and account teams, and our engineering organisation for turning business problems into executable product work.

  • Run customer discovery sessions with banks, brokers and institutional clients — video-first across APAC and MEA (Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Sydney, Dubai, Istanbul and beyond), with occasional in-person travel for strategic accounts or kick-offs
  • Act as the product point-of-contact for regional sales and account teams — joining their client calls, supporting pre-sales solutioning, and unblocking commercial conversations that need product judgment
  • Author clear, structured requirements documents and solutions designs that translate client workflows into product specifications
  • Document functional and non-functional requirements (performance, regulatory, latency, integration) that engineering can build against without ambiguity
  • Maintain a requirements backlog that reflects real client demand, not anecdote
  • Delivery & Sprint Execution (Product Owner)

You will be the product owner for one or more Bangalore-based delivery squads, working face-to-face with engineers every day to ship value every sprint. The co-location advantage is significant — use it.

  • Write and prioritise user stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Run sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews alongside the engineering lead
  • Make day-to-day scope and priority calls in-sprint; unblock engineers fast
  • Partner with QA on test planning and sign off on releases
  • Keep a tight feedback loop between customer-reported issues, sales-driven requests, and the engineering roadmap
  • Represent the squad in cross-team release planning and dependency management
  • Product Intelligence (Usage & Journey Analytics)

You will lead the effort to finally answer the question we have never answered well — what do our 3,000 users actually do on our platform

  • Audit the data we already have — transaction logs, API calls, login patterns, support tickets, CRM — and build a baseline picture of user behaviour from existing signals
  • Identify 5-8 critical user journeys (onboarding, pricing engine adoption, multi-asset usage, API,algo setup, churn signals) and design lightweight instrumentation for each
  • Partner with engineering to add strategic logging and session replay for the highest-value workflows — no boil-the-ocean tracking projects
  • Write SQL against our transaction and event data; build cohort analyses, feature adoption views, and churn leading indicators
  • Fuse quantitative signals with qualitative research — tag users by segment (institutional vs retail, tenure, volume, geography) so account manager interviews become targeted rather than generic
  • Communicate insights as narratives and recommendations, not dashboards. The output is here is why Feature X is not being adopted and here is what we should do about it.

What Success Looks Like

By Month 3

  • Embedded with at least one delivery squad, running sprints end-to-end
  • Completed a data audit and delivered a baseline view of user behaviour from existing signals
  • Authored first two full solutions documents for active customer opportunities

By Month 6

  • Instrumented one critical user journey end-to-end and delivered a first insight that changes a product decision
  • Running a predictable sprint cadence with measurable throughput improvement
  • Trusted by regional sales and account teams across APAC and MEA as their go-to product interface

By Month 12

  • 3-4 user journeys instrumented and tracked
  • A working customer health and feature adoption view used in quarterly business reviews
  • A documented backlog of client requirements directly tied to revenue opportunities
  • Other PMs and analysts in the organisation learning your methods

Essential

Who You Are

  • 7+ years in product roles at a financial technology, trading platform, or enterprise SaaS company — ideally spanning BA, PO and analytical work (even if titled differently)
  • Fluent in financial markets — you understand how banks, brokers, or buy-side institutions actually operate. FX, crypto, fixed income, or equities experience all relevant
  • Strong technical writing — you have authored requirements documents and solutions designs that engineering teams built from successfully
  • Agile delivery experience — you have run sprints with engineering teams as a PO or equivalent, not just attended them
  • Analytical fluency — comfortable writing SQL, working with product analytics tools, and reasoning about data quality. You can do the analysis yourself rather than briefing someone else
  • Client-facing gravitas — can run a workshop with a senior bank stakeholder, push back on an unrealistic request, and keep the relationship intact

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience at a B2B platform with complex workflows and moderate user scale (hundreds to low thousands of users) — you understand why consumer-style analytics fails here
  • Pre-sales engineering or solutions consulting background
  • Experience with session replay tooling (FullStory, LogRocket, Hotjar) and event tracking design
  • Comfort working across time zones and cultures — you can run an effective discovery session with a trader in Hong Kong in the morning and a bank in Istanbul in the afternoon
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (roughly 4-6 trips per year) for strategic client engagements

Disqualifiers

  • Pure data analyst with no customer-facing or delivery experience
  • Product owner who has only ever written tickets and never gathered requirements or analysed usage
  • Business analyst who has never shipped anything with an engineering team
  • Anyone whose instinct is to instrument everything rather than starting narrow

Why This Role Is Unusual — And Why It Matters

Most companies would split this into three hires. We are deliberately combining it because our platform is complex, our user base is specialised, and we need someone who holds the full loop — client problem → written requirement → sprint delivery → measured outcome. Splitting these across three people creates handoff loss and contradictory signals.

The right person for this role is someone who has done any two of these things well and is hungry to own the third. You will have direct access to the CPO, visibility with the executive team, and the chance to build the analytical foundation the company has never had.
