Senior Product Manager

We are hiring for leading General Insurance Company.

Position Title: Manager / Senior – Product Manager

Department: Product Development

Location: Head Office, Mumbai

Reporting To: Associate Vice President

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in General Insurance, preferably in Product Development.

Role Overview

The role involves managing the end-to-end product development lifecycle for lifestyle insurance products, including conceptualization, product design, regulatory filing, product modifications, value-added services (VAS), and successful market launch. The incumbent will work closely with multiple internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution, regulatory compliance, and innovation in product offerings.

Product Development & Filing

• Design and develop new lifestyle insurance products and enhance existing offerings.
• Prepare and manage product filing documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure readiness and completion of all product filing activities.

Product Governance & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to Product Filing Guidelines, IRDAI regulations, and internal Product Development SOPs.
• Support monthly Product Governance Council reporting and governance activities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Underwriting, Actuarial, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Claims, Marketing, and Sales.

Regulatory & Operational Compliance

• Ensure all regulatory and compliance-related activities are completed within defined timelines.
• Facilitate system readiness, launch governance, and query management processes.

Product Innovation & Market Intelligence

• Identify and implement innovative product propositions and enhancements.
• Conduct market scans to track new product launches and emerging trends within the Indian insurance market.

Product Launch Management

• Oversee end-to-end product launch activities, including:
