Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager Experience to lead and enhance the end-to-end listener experience across the Pocket FM platform. This role will focus on optimizing user journeys across discovery, listening, engagement, and retention, ensuring a seamless and highly engaging audio entertainment experiences through AI.

You will collaborate with design, engineering, growth, content, and Gen AI teams to build intuitive product experiences that drive user engagement, satisfaction, and long-term retention.

What will you build and own

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and drive the experience strategy for Pocket FM's listener platform
  • Identify opportunities to improve content discovery, listening experience, and user engagement
  • Translate user insights and business goals into a clear product roadmap

User Experience & Engagement

  • Own the end-to-end listener journey including onboarding, browsing, playback, recommendations, and subscription flows
  • Work closely with UX/UI teams to design intuitive, frictionless experiences
  • Improve session time, retention, and content consumption through thoughtful product improvements

Data-Driven Product Development

  • Define and track key experience metrics such as daily listening time, completion rates, retention, and engagement
  • Use A/B testing, cohort analysis, and behavioral data to validate hypotheses
  • Leverage analytics to identify opportunities to optimize user journeys

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with engineering, design, growth, content, and marketing teams to ship impactful features
  • Align product initiatives with creator ecosystem, monetization, and subscription goals
  • Communicate product strategy, roadmap, and outcomes to stakeholders

Product Execution

  • Lead the product lifecycle from discovery to launch and iteration
  • Write clear product requirement documents (PRDs) and prioritize initiatives
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality product features

The ideal candidate: Who you are

Required

  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in B2C consumer products
  • User first thinking, AI Native way of operating
  • Proven track record of building or improving consumer-facing digital experiences
  • Strong understanding of user behavior, engagement loops, and retention mechanics
  • Experience working closely with design and engineering teams
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA, etc.)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred

  • Experience in content platforms, audio/video streaming, or media apps
  • Experience with recommendation systems, discovery, or personalization products
  • Experience scaling mobile-first consumer apps with large user bases
  • Background in growth, engagement, or subscription products
