Job Description

Company Background

Azuga, a Bridgestone company, is a leading global connected vehicle platform, helping customers turn data from vehicles and drivers into intelligence that improves operations and safety while reducing cost and risk. Azuga provides innovative end-to-end fleet solutions for commercial fleets, government agencies, insurance companies, and integrated software partners, through a comprehensive approach of hardware technology, fleet management applications, video telematics, and data analytics. All with a white glove customer experience.

Team Culture

We are a mission-driven team committed to remaining the fastest growing fleet management solution in the industry. We are a group of builders and doers — building the foundations of a results-oriented product team to deliver amazing experiences for our customers. We are a team with a strong commitment to customer-driven innovation, data-based decision making, and a bias for learning through experimentation.

Summary

Data is at the core of what Azuga does — every device in the field generates a continuous stream of signals that our customers depend on to run safer, smarter fleets. We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, Data, Analytics & AI to own the strategy and roadmap for how we collect, process, model, and surface that intelligence across the platform — and to help lead our emerging AI program from early initiative into a core platform capability.

This is a rare hybrid role. You will need to be equally comfortable in a technical conversation about data pipelines and model outputs as you are in a boardroom discussion about business outcomes and strategic direction. You will translate between two worlds — turning ambiguous business problems into clear technical requirements, and turning complex data and AI capabilities into intuitive, high-impact product experiences. You will work closely with engineering, data science, Sales, Customer Success, and executive leadership alike.

What You'll Own

Data Ingestion & Pipeline Integrity

  • Own product requirements for how vehicle signals and driver events are collected, validated, and processed — from hardware in the field through to the data layer.
  • Define standards for data quality, completeness, and reliability in partnership with Engineering and Data Engineering, and ensure the infrastructure scales as fleet size and signal diversity grow.

Analytics & Insights Products

  • Own the roadmap for Azuga's fleet analytics surfaces — dashboards, reports, trend analysis, and alert-driven insights — ensuring they are accurate, fast, and genuinely useful to fleet managers.
  • Define and evolve the metrics layer: what gets measured, how it's calculated, and how it maps to customer outcomes like safety, efficiency, and cost reduction.

AI Program — Vision & Execution

  • Help lead Azuga's AI program as it matures from a set of experiments into a standardized platform capability — owning the vision, roadmap, and delivery framework that makes AI a reliable, scalable part of the product.
  • Establish the infrastructure, data access patterns, and UX standards that allow AI features to be built and iterated consistently across the platform.
  • Define and track leading indicators of AI program health — such as recommendation acceptance rates and feature engagement — to measure real-world impact and guide investment decisions.
  • Serve as the product interface for data science and ML initiatives: framing problem statements, scoping features around model outputs, and ensuring AI-driven capabilities are explainable, trustworthy, and tied to measurable customer value.

Data APIs & Cross-Functional Translation

  • Define product requirements for external data APIs, ensuring Azuga's data is accessible and reliable for partners and integrated software vendors.
  • Act as the connective tissue between technical and non-technical stakeholders — synthesizing inputs from Sales, Support, and executive leadership into a coherent product direction, and producing clear, detailed requirements that engineering teams can execute without ambiguity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the data, analytics, and AI product roadmap, balancing near-term customer pain points against longer-term platform investment.
  • Lead product discovery across customer segments, translating feedback, usage data, and support escalations into prioritized requirements.
  • Write rigorous product requirements and user stories; partner with engineering and data science through the full development lifecycle.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and executive leadership — communicating clearly and managing expectations proactively.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for data quality, analytics engagement, AI feature adoption, and API reliability.
  • Lead go-to-market planning and enablement for new analytics and AI feature launches.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with meaningful focus on data, analytics, or AI/ML products in B2B SaaS environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate between business requirements and technical specifications — comfortable in a data engineering standup and a Sales QBR in the same day.
  • Working fluency with data concepts: pipelines, schemas, APIs, event-driven architectures, and data quality frameworks. You don't need to code, but you need to reason about tradeoffs at the technical level.
  • Experience working directly with data science or ML teams — defining problem statements, scoping features around model outputs, and making those outputs useful to end users.
  • High attention to detail — you write requirements that leave nothing ambiguous, and you catch the inconsistency others miss.
  • Excellent communicator with a track record of earning trust with engineers, data scientists, and executive stakeholders alike.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Background in fleet management, telematics, connected devices, or mobility/transportation.
  • Hands-on experience with BI platform product development (Looker, Tableau, or similar).
  • Familiarity with IoT data architectures, streaming pipelines, or AI-assisted prototyping workflows.

Join us at Azuga

This is a high-impact role at a company where data is the product and AI is the next frontier. You will own a domain that touches every fleet customer we serve and help shape how intelligence gets woven into everything Azuga does. If you find equal satisfaction in a cleanly defined schema and a well-told customer story — and thrive connecting those two things — we would love to hear from you.
