Job Description - Senior Product Manager - Cross Sell Personal Loans

About The Role

We are seeking a self-motivated, analytical, and execution-driven Senior Product Manager to lead high-impact product initiatives. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, advanced analytical capabilities, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to mentor a team. Candidates with a solid understanding of product policy and exposure to campaign management will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Execution

  • Drive product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Use data-driven insights to validate ideas, prioritize features, and monitor performance.

Technical & Analytical Expertise

  • Perform advanced data analysis using Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros/VBA, Power Query, data modeling).
  • Use Python for data automation, and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with tech and analytics teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Problem Solving & Decision Making

  • Break down complex business challenges using structured frameworks and analytical thinking.
  • Build hypotheses, test using data, and create actionable insights.

Product Policy & Governance

  • Ensure product design and process flows comply with product policy, regulatory norms, and risk guidelines.
  • Partner with Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to interpret policies and embed them into product features.
  • Participate in defining or refining policy documentation and SOPs.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Risk, Operations, Sales, Tech, and Data.
  • Prepare high-quality PowerPoint presentations for leadership reviews and business discussions.
  • Influence decision-making with a clear narrative supported by structured logic and data.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts or product associates.
  • Drive performance, accountability, and continuous learning.

Campaign & Growth Management (Preferred)

  • Manage or support customer communication and cross-sell campaigns (SMS, email, app, push).
  • Analyze campaign effectiveness and optimize for conversions and engagement.

Education Qualifications

Post Graduation - MBA/PGDM preferred

Graduation - Any

Experience

  • 56 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Advanced Excel.
  • Practical experience with Python (analytics or automation).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to build leadership-ready, insight-driven PPTs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • Team handling or mentoring experience.
