Job Summary:
The Senior Engineer - Product Management will oversee procurement, sourcing, and supplier management for Hex Head components. This role focuses on cost savings, supplier development, and ensuring timely supply chain operations, collaborating closely with sales and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end purchasing and sourcing activities for defined category.
- Identify and develop new suppliers to enhance quality, delivery, and cost competitiveness.
- Submit and negotiate offers with suppliers to achieve optimum pricing and terms.
- Analyze and implement cost-saving initiatives across sourcing and procurement processes.
- Evaluate job work pricing and manage ordering for outsourced work.
- Plan and execute material procurement to ensure smooth production schedules.
- Follow up with suppliers on RFQs (Request for Quotation) and open orders.
- Transfer articles and master data from SAP for sourcing and purchase activities.
- Conduct RFQ meetings with the sales team to align on product requirements and quotations.
- Drive localization initiatives by identifying and sourcing local suppliers.
Ensure compliance with internal procurement processes and documentation
