Senior Product Engineer

About the Job

We are looking for a Java Developer who can own a set of functionality or modules within the product and act as a primary point of contact as well as subject matter expert in those areas. The Senior Product Engineer role function requires candidates to develop code using best practices, implement the identified feature based on the product requirements. Senior Product Engineer also ensures that the implemented features are unit tested and ready to be integrated into the product.

What You Will Do

● You will be responsible for secure coding of web applications in latest open-source frameworks like J2EE, Spring Framework

● You will be involved in development in database frameworks like Hibernate

● You will develop UI in technologies like JSP, JSTL, AJAX, JQuery, etc.

● You will be involved in unit testing using JUnit and other suitable frameworks

● You will implement efficient and scalable design and code

Skills You Will Need

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

● Strong 3-5 years of hands-on coding and debugging experience

● Experience in Java8 or above, Data structure, Design Patterns, REST API, Springboot, Hibernate and microservices

● Knowledge of maven, Jenkins, CI/CD, Docker and AWS services

● Experience in writing effective unit test cases and good quality code by following tools like Sonarqube etc.

● Experience in fixing performance and security issues

● Ability to work with very little or no support

● In-depth knowledge of relational database concepts

● Excellent verbal and written communication

● Knowledge of ReactJS and selenium would be an added advantage
