Senior Product Engineer

Job Description

• Product owner for photonics devices and optical sensors, responsible for product specification and performance.
• Design and development of embedded and fiber optics modules for sensing and data communication optics hardware and software.
• Collaboration with cross-functional team to develop and prototyping of new products or product derivatives, implementation to prototype functional testing and ramp to production.
• Develop qualification strategy and schedule, drive execution to meet project goals
• Complete project documentation including product specifications, quality specifications, quality plans, risk analysis, FMEAs and other product related documentation.
• Big data processing and analysis to provide management reporting and drive improvement activities.
• Lead complex problem solving efforts and mentor others on best practices. e.g. FMEA, Control Plan, Test plan, quality tools and DOE. e.g. Leads/ coordinates CA of failures using a structured approach.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor or Master in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Computer/Photonics)

Experience:

• 5 - 7 years working experience preferably in the semiconductor/component/photonics industry background

Specific Skills / Knowledge:

• Knowledge of photonics technology
• Software knowledge of MS Office, JMP, PDF/Spot-fire/Tibco is a plus
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills, both written and oral
• Possess the ability to work independently, self-motivated, initiative and deliver tasks on time
• Must be team oriented, positive working attitude, able to multi-tasks in a fast pace environment and work with personnel at all level
