Senior Product Designer

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Senior Product Designer, you will:

• Take part in product and design ideation, planning, and prioritization across a diverse range of products and features.
• Drive user research, create user journeys, and make design decisions based on user behavior and data.
• Define design strategies by analyzing data models and apply best practices within the team.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams—Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Business—to deliver delightful customer experiences.
• Strategize, develop, and extend visual design systems and pattern libraries to align with the Razorpay brand.
• Lead holistic thinking across products and participate in design reviews and status meetings.
• Evangelize design within and beyond the organization.
• Brainstorm and propose new directions to make payments easy and accessible.
• Mentor and inspire a team of designers.
• Help resolve blockers, prioritize tasks, and simplify complex projects into actionable steps.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in designing digital products.
• Strong understanding of short- and long-term product and business goals.
• Experience in user research, needs validation, and usability evaluation.
• Deep understanding of user-centered and visual design principles.
• Comfort working with behavioral analytics and data-driven decisions.
• Knowledge of Frontend principles to guide design implementation.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship features.
