Senior Product Designer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Create delightful, customer-focused designs that deliver superior user experiences across the lending ecosystem, including AI-powered experiences that feel simple, trusted, and human.
• Understand user pain points and translate complex business problems into creative, intuitive, and simple UX solutions.
• Collaborate with Product, Business, Risk & Policy, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to deliver impactful product experiences.
• Identify customer needs and aspirations and align them with business goals.
• Own the end-to-end design process, from user research and wireframing to user flows, high-fidelity UI designs, and interactive prototypes.
• Work closely with front-end developers to ensure polished interfaces, seamless interactions, and high-quality implementation.
• Continuously iterate on designs using user feedback, research, and product insights to improve the overall experience.
• Design engaging, habit-forming products with strong usability and world-class execution.
• Use AI as a design material by creating interfaces that explain AI-driven decisions, build user trust, and support users without overwhelming them or replacing human judgment.
• Take end-to-end ownership of design projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Present and demonstrate designs, clearly communicating and defending design decisions using research findings, user insights, and competitive benchmarking.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of professional product design experience, with at least 3+ recent years working in a product company.
• Strong full-stack design expertise across UX research, UX design, and UI design.
• Proven ability to independently manage the complete design lifecycle, from discovery and research to final design delivery.
• Strong product thinking, discovery skills, and the ability to identify user pain points and translate product strategy into actionable design solutions.
• Hands-on experience with user research methodologies, data-driven design, heuristic evaluation, and consumer validation.
• Expertise in wireframing, user flows, interaction design, high-fidelity UI design, and interactive prototyping.
• Strong UI craft, visual design skills, aesthetic sense, and an understanding of motion and interaction design.
• Proficiency in Figma, including design systems, reusable components, prototyping, and design-to-development handoff best practices.
• Experience working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Business teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to present, demonstrate, and defend design decisions using research, data, and competitive benchmarking.
• Curiosity about AI-powered product experiences and the ability to design interfaces that make AI intuitive, transparent, trustworthy, and user-friendly.
• Strong ownership, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Company Background

• Candidates must have experience working in a product company, irrespective of the industry.
• Candidates with agency-only or service-based company experience without product-company experience will not meet this requirement.

Portfolio Requirements

• A portfolio with detailed design case studies is mandatory.
• The portfolio must be accessible through Notion, Medium, or a personal website.
• Case studies should demonstrate the problem statement, research, design process, decision-making, iterations, and final product outcomes.
• Dribbble-only portfolios will not be accepted.

Education

• Graduation in any relevant discipline is mandatory.
• Higher education in Design, such as a Master's degree or equivalent design qualification, is preferred.
