Senior Product Designer - Design Systems in our office in Bangalore
Responsibilities
- Elevate visual design quality across products by establishing and evolving design standards that create modern, sophisticated, and trustworthy interfaces.
- Create and refine design tokens, component libraries, and design system assets to improve usability and drive adoption.
- Partner with engineering teams globally to ensure accurate implementation of design system components in code.
- Contribute to governance processes for how components are proposed, reviewed, approved, versioned, and deprecated.
- Identify and champion system improvements based on usage data, feedback, and product roadmap alignment.
- Maintain clear documentation for designers and developers covering usage guidelines, design rationale, and accessibility considerations.
- Participate in design reviews and critiques, providing feedback and mentoring designers on systems best practices.
- Conduct audits of existing products to identify inconsistencies and opportunities for systematization.
- Manage design system versioning, release notes, and communicate updates to ensure smooth adoption across teams.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong systems thinking with ability to create cohesive design solutions that work across diverse use cases and platforms.
- Expert understanding of visual design principles including typography, color theory, spacing systems, iconography, and layout.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate across disciplines, time zones, and cultures.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with accuracy.
- Self-motivated and proactive with ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and drive initiatives forward.

- Strong facilitation and presentation skills with ability to advocate for design system adoption.
- Passion for design craft, quality, and creating exceptional user experiences that inspire trust, particularly in financial contexts.
Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, HCI, Product Design, Graphic Design, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of product design experience with 2+ years dedicated to design systems or component libraries at scale.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma including components, variants, auto-layout, variables, and managing complex libraries.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA minimum) with experience designing inclusive components.
- Experience designing for multiple platforms including web (responsive), iOS, and Android.
- Excellent written and spoken English with ability to create clear documentation.
- Portfolio showcasing design system work, component libraries, documentation, and measurable impact on product teams.
- Preferred: Experience in fintech, trading platforms, or financial services; knowledge of front-end technologies; experience with motion design and prototyping tools; background working in distributed, multicultural teams.
