As a Sr Product Associate at JPMorgan Chase within 55ip - Asset & Wealth Management Technology, your role will collaborate with cross-functional teams of developers/engineers, quantitative researchers, and product designers to analyze requirements, investigate stakeholder needs, propose solutions and build products. You will serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to understand key competitive/market forces, internal and external client requirements, examining needs in alignment with the broader firmwide product strategy and vision, and executing on the roadmap to deliver cutting-edge products in the marketplace.
Job responsibilities
- Work in close partnership with Trade Operations, Trade Generation Technology and Quant R&D to design end to end feature roadmap for model portfolios, separately managed or manager trade ETF and Mutual Fund portfolio lifecycle.
- Hands on requirements design, requirements conversion to test framework and acceptance criteria's pertaining to Model and SMA portfolio trade implementation.
- Lead through domain expertise in portfolio constructions and model portfolio theory to design and advise on next generation platform.
- Set product strategy and metrics for your products/ in alignment with strategic priorities of the broader organization proactively align and communicates to ensure company goals are achieved.
- Develop background in data modeling, conceptual data models, reconciliation framework for start of day trigger based portfolio trading.
- Drive product development with a team of world-class engineers and designers
- Ensure cross functional collaboration with key stakeholders and internal partners on product design, requirements, and delivery
- Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
- Examine and analyze metrics that inform the success of products collate and report them to the product management leadership
- Understand 55ip's strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized best in the industry
- Share your expertise internally and externally in the form of presentations and content development
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
- Proven experience in working in AGILE, SAFe, and Kanban operating model with the ability to feature size, feature roadmap and feature prioritization methodologies.
- Experience in Product Management and working collaboratively with engineering, design, and user research teams
- Experience working on investments-related products (ETFs, Mutual Funds, SMAs, UMAs Direct Indexing, etc.)
- Experience working with integrated systems and platform data dependencies, APIs and/or user interfaces
- Experience building Fintech and Wealth products or platforms
- Subject matter expertise in Custodial integration and financial advisory platforms
- Experience in an Agile framework SDLC
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- BA/BS in Finance, Economics, or related field CFA preferred
