Job Description

Drive Innovation and Excellence as a Senior Product Associate in Core Banking Technology
As a Senior Product Associate in Consumer & Community Banking, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and optimization of our products. You will leverage your deep expertise in product management, supported by user research and customer feedback, to create innovative solutions and continuously enhance existing offerings.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams-including engineering, design, operations, and business stakeholders-to shape the future of our products and contribute to the ongoing success of our organization.

Job responsibilities
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to define, refine, and execute the strategic vision for core banking products, ensuring technical excellence and business alignment.
  • Drive end-to-end product delivery, from ideation and requirements gathering through development, testing, launch, and post-launch optimization, ensuring products meet ambitious targets for quality, performance, and resiliency.
  • Develop and articulate clear, comprehensive requirements, epics, and user stories, bridging business objectives and technical feasibility, and facilitating seamless execution by engineering teams.
  • Champion robust testing strategies, including automation, performance, and resiliency testing, working with engineering teams to embed quality assurance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Engage confidently in technical discussions about platform architecture, distributed systems, event-driven design, and observability.
  • Demonstrate ownership and initiative, proactively driving projects forward, resolving challenges, and inspiring teams to achieve ambitious outcomes with minimal oversight.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 6+ years of progressive experience in technical product management in Consumer banking or a related domain, demonstrating exceptional leadership in delivering complex, high-impact, cross-functional projects within large enterprise environments.
  • Deep expertise in core banking systems and infrastructure, with an understanding of how to design, scale, and optimize solutions for enterprise applications.
  • Mastery of the end-to-end product development lifecycle for backend applications, including strategic planning, requirements definition, prioritization, and successful execution of innovative product initiatives.
  • Comfortable operating in highly technical environments, with the ability to engage in detailed discussions about platform architecture, distributed systems, and modern integration patterns
  • Fluency in technical language and concepts, able to communicate effectively with engineering teams and stakeholders on topics such as Kafka, APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
  • Proven ability to drive transformation by collaborating with multiple engineering teams, leveraging agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to accelerate delivery and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Extensive experience in product lifecycle management, from discovery and ideation through launch and post-launch optimization, consistently delivering products that exceed customer and business expectations.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Advanced proficiency in AWS services, with a demonstrated ability to architect and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions AWS certification strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional cross-functional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of driving consensus across diverse teams.
  • Entrepreneurial ownership mindset, consistently delivering results and driving initiatives forward with minimal oversight.
  • Strategic technical acumen in emerging technologies, including Agentic AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), with the ability to identify, evaluate, and implement automation opportunities that transform business processes and deliver measurable value.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating agility, resourcefulness, and a results-driven approach.
