As a Senior Product Associate in Global Payments within Commercial & Investment Banking you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. As a core leader in Digital Channels & Connectivity, you will drive new product development and incubation from discovery through launch, act as the voice of the customer, and deliver resilient, compliant payment products that developers love and clients trust. You'll pair rigorous, data‑driven decisioning with an entrepreneurial mindset to accelerate adoption and impact.
Job responsibilities
- Define and communicate product vision and strategy aligned to customer value, business goals, and measurable OKRs translate strategy into a prioritized roadmap and resourcing plan.
- Monitor the end to end transaction journey from file receipt through clearing, focusing on scalability, resiliency, stability, and observability.
- Incubate and launch new connectivity capabilities (ISO 20022, SWIFT, H2H file exchange) using hypothesis‑driven, iterative development and experimentation frameworks.
- Partner across engineering, architecture, data science, finance, accounting, design, and controls to turn business requirements into technical specifications and deliverables.
- Establish clear rollout and change‑management strategies (beta programs, phased enablement, training, client comms) to ensure successful launches and ongoing customer adoption.
- Monitor the end‑to‑end transaction journey from file receipt through clearing drive improvements in scalability, resiliency, stability, and observability with data.
- Define and track product and operational health metrics (OKRs, KPIs) build dashboards and insights to guide prioritization and post‑launch iteration.
- Champion the product vision and align senior stakeholders through strong written and verbal communication structure decisions and secure buy‑in across regions and lines of business.
- Liaise with control partners to ensure adherence to internal policies, risk controls, and regulatory requirements proactively identify and mitigate risks throughout the lifecycle.
- Write epics, user stories, and Gherkin acceptance criteria lead UAT planning and defect triage prepare product documentation, training materials, and client communications.
- Deliver both tactical enhancements and strategic platform capabilities that make file transmission channels more secure, operable, and commercially effective.

- Accessibility knowledge and practical application of ADA/WCAG guidelines in digital products.
- Familiarity with US and non‑US clearing and settlement rails and industry‑supported file formats.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 experience with project/program management tools.
- Understanding of emerging technologies and trends shaping payments (e.g., real‑time payments expansion, ISO migration, open banking, API security, event streaming).
