Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Analyst with a strong background in data visualization and business intelligence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leveraging Power BI to transform complex data into actionable insights. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing best practices in data management and governance.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and functionalities.
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and industry trends to continuously improve reporting capabilities.
- Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery of BI solutions.
Mandatory Skills
- Expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Experience in creating visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards.
- Proficient in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and data warehousing concepts.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for advanced analytics.
- Experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role.
- Proven experience in developing Power BI solutions in a corporate environment.
- Relevant certifications in Power BI or data analytics are a plus.
