About the Role:

As a Sr. Specialist – Indirect Procurement, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for indirect spend categories, including MRO, IT procurement, office admin, facilities, and professional services. You will play a key role in optimizing procurement costs, strengthening vendor partnerships, ensuring timely procurement operations, and maintaining compliance with procurement policies. Working closely with cross-functional teams such as Admin, IT, HR, Finance, and Facilities, you will ensure uninterrupted business operations through efficient sourcing, contract management, and supplier performance management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities for indirect spend categories including MRO, office and administrative supplies, IT hardware, software licenses, professional services, facilities, and other business requirements across all Statiq locations.
  • Source, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard vendors while maintaining a robust and approved vendor database for various indirect procurement categories.
  • Prepare, issue, and evaluate RFQs/RFIs, conduct commercial comparisons, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), and service agreements to achieve the best commercial value.
  • Process purchase requisitions and generate Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring compliance with the organization's Delegation of Authority (DOA) approval framework.
  • Manage and track AMC renewals for IT assets, office equipment, facilities, and other service contracts by maintaining a structured renewal calendar to prevent service disruptions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Administration, IT, HR, Finance, and Facilities teams to understand procurement requirements and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitor indirect procurement spend across categories, analyze spending trends, and identify opportunities for vendor consolidation, cost optimization, and process improvements.
  • Ensure vendor compliance by maintaining updated documentation including GST, PAN, MSME certificates, agreements, statutory documents, and other compliance records for audit readiness.
  • Coordinate with Finance to support invoice verification, GRN reconciliation, vendor account reconciliation, and timely resolution of payment-related queries.
  • Maintain accurate vendor master data, procurement records, contracts, pricing history, and procurement documentation within ERP or procurement management systems.
  • Prepare procurement MIS reports, category-wise spend analysis, vendor performance scorecards, savings reports, and procurement dashboards for management review.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Operations, or a related discipline.
  • 3–6 years of experience in Indirect Procurement, General Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Hands-on experience managing procurement across MRO, IT hardware/software, office administration, facilities management, and service procurement categories.
  • Prior experience in fast-paced startup, manufacturing, industrial, or technology-driven organizations will be preferred.
  • Strong understanding of indirect procurement processes, vendor sourcing, RFQ management, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in spend analysis, procurement reporting, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/procurement platforms; experience with procurement tools such as Appsmith or similar systems is an added advantage.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across Administration, IT, HR, Facilities, and Finance teams.
