About the Role

As the Senior ManagerProcurement at Statiq,, you will lead strategicsourcing, procurement operations, supplier partnerships, and logistics optimization within the SupplyChain Management function. This role is critical in ensuring cost-efficient, quality-driven, and uninterrupted supply chain operations aligned with business growth objectives. The incumbent will be responsible for driving procurement strategy, supplier performance, inventory governance, and end-to-end material planning while ensuring alignment with production requirements, budget targets, and organizational priorities. The role demands strong commercial acumen, cross-functional leadership, and deep expertise in strategic sourcing within engineering, automotive, or EV environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies, sourcing policies,and operational frameworks to optimize end-to-end supply chain value across business verticals.
• Lead strategic procurement, sourcing, vendor management, and logistics operations across business verticals.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and SOPs to drive cost efficiency, quality, and operational excellence.
• Manage strategic material sourcingand annual procurement spend of ₹100–200 Cr.
• Build and strengthen supplierrelationships, negotiate commercial terms, and monitorsupplier performance.
• Drive inventory planning and control to ensure material availability alignedwith production and sales plans.
• Monitor key supply chain KPIs such as lead time, on-timedelivery, inventory turnover, and order fulfillment.
• Oversee logistics and distribution operations to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Identify supply chain risks and implementmitigation plans to ensure business continuity.
• Review budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to deliver cost savings and budget adherence.
• Collaborate closelywith Sales, Production, Finance, Product, and Operations teams for seamless execution.
• Lead process improvement initiatives, technology adoption, and performance reportingfor continuous optimization.
• Build and mentor a high-performing supplychain team to deliver business goals.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• Full-time Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech), preferably Mechanical Engineering.
• MBA / Post-Graduation from a premierinstitute will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 8+ years of overall experience, with at least 6+ years in strategic sourcing / procurement roles.
• Strong preference for candidates from Automotive Tier-1/ Tier-2 / EV / Engineering manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience in strategic procurement, vendor development, cost negotiation, and supply planning.
• Strong exposure to high-value procurement, supplier ecosystemmanagement, and logistics operations.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in fast-scaling manufacturing or technology-led businesses.
• Strong understanding of engineering supply chains and structured procurement governance.
