Job Description

Procurement Strategy:

Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives and growth plans.

Vendor Management:

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and conditions while ensuring the highest quality of products and services.

Cost Optimization:

Continuously monitor and analyze procurement processes to identify cost-saving opportunities, negotiate contracts, and manage budgets effectively.

Supplier Relationship Management:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, addressing any issues and proactively seeking opportunities for collaboration and improvement.

Inventory Management:

Collaborate with inventory management teams to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing carrying costs and stockouts.

Compliance:

Ensure procurement activities adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards, including sustainability and ethical sourcing practices.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to inform procurement decisions.

Risk Management:

Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies related to procurement, including supply chain disruptions and market volatility.

Reporting and Analysis:

Generate and present reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and key performance indicators to senior management.

Experience from Gifting /Ecommerce or B2C industry is preferred
