A global bank standing up its India technology and operations centre
Location: Remote (India)
About the Company
A leading global bank is establishing its India technology and operations centre and has partnered with Flexiple to build its procurement leadership. You will own significant spend for a marquee institution and set the standard for how the centre buys. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.
Role Overview
As a Senior Procurement Manager, you will lead sourcing strategy across major categories, drive savings at scale, and mentor a growing buying team. You will own supplier relationships that matter to the business and bring rigour to a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
- Set sourcing strategy and savings targets across key spend categories
- Lead high-value negotiations and steer complex supplier decisions
- Mentor buyers and raise the maturity of the procurement function
Governance & Risk
- Strengthen procurement controls, compliance, and approval governance
- Manage supplier risk, due diligence, and performance reviews
- Report savings, risk, and category insight to senior leadership
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5 to 10 years in procurement or strategic sourcing, with team or category ownership
- A proven record of delivering savings and managing senior suppliers
- Strong command of procurement controls and ERP or S2P tools
- Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in banking, financial services, or a regulated environment
- Exposure to a GCC or global shared-services centre
- A degree in supply chain or business, or a CIPS-style certification
