Role Overview
The Senior Manager Procurement will lead and manage the organization's procurement strategy, vendor partnerships, and sourcing operations to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and timely availability of goods and services. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Procurement & Sourcing
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and cost optimization goals.
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives including RFQs, RFPs, negotiations, and contract finalization.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvements, and supplier consolidation.
Vendor & Contract Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and service providers.
- Negotiate commercial terms, SLAs, pricing, and contracts to ensure value and risk mitigation.
- Monitor vendor performance through KPIs, scorecards, and regular reviews.
Operations & Compliance
- Oversee end-to-end procurement lifecycle including requisition, purchase orders, delivery, and payment coordination.
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, audit requirements, and legal/regulatory standards.
- Manage procurement risks related to supply continuity, pricing volatility, and vendor dependency.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with internal stakeholders (Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Legal, Business Heads) to understand requirements and deliver procurement solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor on sourcing decisions, market trends, and supplier capabilities.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to drive performance and capability building.
- Set clear goals, review performance, and support professional development of team members.
Data, Reporting & Analytics
- Track procurement spend, savings, and efficiency metrics.
- Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and management updates on procurement performance and initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

- Experience managing large supplier portfolios and high-value contracts
