Role: Senior Process Simulate Automation Engineer
Required Technical Skill Set: Siemens Tecnomatix Process Simulate, Process Simulate API Customization, C#, .NET, Robotic Simulation, OLP (Offline Programming), Robotics Path Planning, Automation Framework Development
Desired Experience Range: 8-12 years
Location of Requirement: Chennai/ Pune/Hyderabad
Must-Have**
- Strong hands-on experience in Siemens Tecnomatix Process Simulate.
- Expertise in Process Simulate automation APIs, customization, DLL integration, and scripting.
- Strong programming skills in C# and .NET Framework.
- Experience in robotic simulation, robotic operations, equipment placement, and process planning.
- Good understanding of robot kinematics, coordinate systems, transformation matrices, and 3D geometry.
- Experience in Offline Programming (OLP) generation and validation.
- Knowledge of path planning and collision avoidance concepts for industrial robots.
- Experience with Git/version control systems and software development best practices.
- Strong debugging, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience leading technical teams and engaging with customers/stakeholders.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
- Lead the design and development of automation solutions within Siemens Tecnomatix Process Simulate.
- Architect and develop enhancements for the Auto Path Planner (APP) solution.
- Develop and integrate Process Simulate APIs, automation scripts, and custom DLL-based solutions.
- Drive implementation of robotic simulation, equipment movement, and process planning functionalities.
- Support optimization of robot paths, cycle time reduction, and collision-free operations.
- Lead Offline Programming (OLP) generation and validation activities.
- Collaborate with functional teams, customers, and offshore/onshore stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
- Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and technical mentoring.
- Ensure software quality through testing, validation, and deployment support.
- Create technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge-transfer materials.
