About the Role

The Senior Process Manager – Retail Operations RCC Recon is responsible for managing and enhancing daily reconciliation, compliance monitoring, and control processes within the retail operations function. The role involves overseeing transaction processing, account management, and customer service operations, while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies. The incumbent will also lead strategic initiatives focused on process digitization and automation, and act as a subject matter expert in specialized activities.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve reconciliation, compliance, and control processes.
  • Oversee operational activities including transaction processing, account management, reconciliations, and customer service.
  • Ensure efficient and compliant delivery of banking services in line with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor operational staff to ensure optimal performance and professional development.
  • Identify and implement process improvements with a focus on digitization and automation.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Risk, Compliance, and IT to ensure operational alignment and seamless service delivery.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and individual contributor for specialized processes.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance and resolve complex queries effectively.
  • Coordinate with product, compliance, and other bank stakeholders.
  • Serve as the first-level escalation point for sub-unit issues.
  • Manage specialized activities such as testing and transaction monitoring.

What We Are Looking For

Education

  • Graduation: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Post-graduation: Postgraduate in any discipline from a recognized institution.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in reconciliation, compliance, and control functions within retail banking operations.

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage specialized operational activities and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborative mindset for cross-functional coordination.
