Job Summary
We are seeking skilled API Developer with strong experience working with APISIX API Gateway to deploy, configure, and maintain API services. The ideal candidate will be able to build ad-hoc API services in Python to expose internal or partner AI models through the API gateway, while ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain APISIX API Gateway in development and production environments.
- Design, build, and maintain Python-based API services to expose internal or partner AI models.
- Integrate API services with APISIX for routing, authentication, rate limiting, and traffic control.
- Implement and manage API security best practices, including authentication, authorization, TLS, and request validation.
- Optimize API performance, scalability, and latency.
- Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting for APIs and gateway services.
- Collaborate with AI, data, and platform teams to map AI models to secure and scalable APIs.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform ongoing maintenance and upgrades.
- Create and maintain API documentation and configuration guidelines.
