Job Title: US Corporate Accountant

Location: Ambattur, Chennai (Night Shift – Aligned with US Time Zones)

Experience: 6–8 Years (4 positions) - Senior Processor level

Manager Level: 10-13 Years (1 position) - Manager level

Department: Finance & Accounting

Employment Type: Full-time

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced US Corporate Accountant to support our US-based finance operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close processes. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in Quickbooks is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Coordinate and provide audit support, ensuring all documentation and schedules are maintained.
  • Collaborate closely with the US accounting team to streamline processes and ensure consistency in financial reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
  • 6–8 years of experience in US corporate accounting or a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and corporate financial reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Willingness to work night shifts to support US time zones.
