Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect / Project Manager to lead strategic data engineering initiatives, with a strong focus on data migration, ETL tool modernization, and hybrid integration architecture. This role blends technical leadership with project delivery, requiring hands-on expertise in Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC)-including CDI, CAI, and MDM-as well as Informatica PowerCenter, SQL, and enterprise database platforms. The ideal candidate will architect scalable solutions, manage cross-functional teams, and drive agile delivery through sprint planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and lead data migration projects from on-premises to cloud platforms

• Good experience with Informatica Platform and knowledge of Informatica best practices for Informatica PowerCenter, Data Transformation and Informatica B2B Data Exchange products and IDMC.

• Design and implement ETL tool migration strategies, primarily using IDMC (CDI, CAI, MDM) and Informatica PowerCenter.

• Strong ETL and data modelling experience

• Develop integration frameworks for hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud)

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and solution roadmaps

• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to ensure agile delivery

• Oversee end-to-end data engineering lifecycle-from design to deployment

• Ensure data quality, governance, and performance across all pipelines

• Manage project timelines, risks, and resource allocation

• Document architecture decisions, technical workflows, and delivery milestones

• Thorough knowledge of software methodologies, distributed networking, databases, communications, and multiprocessing applications

• Strong proficiency in database interfacing and relational database management systems

• Promote DevOps best practices using Jira and GitHub

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field

• Relevant experience in data engineering and solution architecture

• Relevant years in project management or technical leadership roles

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Proven delivery of enterprise-level architecture

• Experience coordinating with offshore development and QA teams.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Experience with legacy migrations

• Deep expertise in IDMC (CDI, CAI, MDM) and Informatica PowerCenter.

• Strong command of SQL and experience with relational and cloud databases

• Ability to design and implement hybrid integration solutions

• Experience leading sprint calls, backlog management, and agile ceremonies

• Good to have Experience with Control-M, Apache Airflow, or Autosys

• Familiarity with Shell scripting, PowerShell, or similar

• Good to have knowledge of Python for automation and data manipulation

• PMP, Agile, or Scrum certifications are a plus

• Good to have understanding of other ETL/Integration tools

• Familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure etc.
