Minimum 10+ years of ERP consulting experience with 7+ years of NetSuite implementation experience, including 5+ years leading end-to-end NetSuite ERP implementation projects.

  • Full lifecycle NetSuite ERP implementation experience including Discovery, Solution Design, Configuration, Testing (SIT/UAT), Go-Live, Hypercare, and Support Transition.
  • Lead multiple NetSuite implementation projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume consulting environment.
  • Serve as the primary customer-facing Functional Lead, managing executive stakeholders and driving solution governance.
  • Strong understanding of NetSuite ERP, SuiteCloud platform, integrations, and Oracle implementation methodologies.
  • Deep functional knowledge of Finance, SCM, CRM, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Design to Build, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report and Lead to Quote business processes.
  • Experience in at least one industry vertical and ability to recommend industry-leading practices and scalable business solutions.
  • Lead onshore/offshore functional and technical teams, providing mentoring, guidance, and delivery oversight.
  • Own solution quality, project risks, scope, issue resolution, and change management throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Solution Architects, Technical Consultants, and Customer Success teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Experience delivering SaaS and PaaS solutions, including third-party integrations and ERP extensions.
  • Support pre-sales activities including solution workshops, effort estimation, RFP/RFI responses, and customer presentations.
  • Contribute to practice development through reusable assets, best practices, knowledge sharing, and consultant mentoring.
  • NetSuite certifications (ERP Consultant, SuiteFoundation) are highly preferred.
  • CA/CPA/MBA or equivalent business qualification is an added advantage. Also must be well versed with AI tools.
  • Excellent customer-facing, presentation, communication, stakeholder management, and business writing skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, project governance, and financial management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence customer decisions, manage executive escalations, and deliver successful business outcomes.

Responsibilities


As a Principal Consultant, you will be expected to own end-to-end project delivery, manage multiple customer engagements in parallel, provide functional leadership, mentor consulting teams, and consistently deliver successful customer outcomes aligned with Oracle quality and delivery standards.

Principal Consultant Expectations

As a Principal Consultant, you will own the successful delivery of multiple end-to-end NetSuite implementation projects while maintaining delivery excellence across quality, schedule, scope, budget, and customer satisfaction. You will act as the primary customer-facing functional leader, providing strategic guidance throughout the engagement lifecycle and ensuring alignment with Oracle Consulting standards and industry best practices.

The role requires balancing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, high-volume consulting environment while effectively leading cross-functional onshore and offshore teams, mentoring consultants, managing executive stakeholders, driving governance, mitigating delivery risks, and ensuring successful customer outcomes. In addition to project delivery, the Principal Consultant is expected to contribute to practice growth through mentoring, solution innovation, reusable assets, delivery excellence initiatives, and support for pre-sales and business development activities.
