Summary:

As a Senior/Principal, Tech Executive Sourcer at Coupang, you will leverage AI tools to map and source top Tech Executive Talent in the global market. This role involves developing and executing sourcing strategies for senior leadership positions, identifying candidates, and building talent pools with high-potential individuals to support Coupang's growth in the e-commerce industry.

***This position will begin as a 6-month fixed-term contract. There is potential for extension and/or conversion to a full-time role, based on individual performance. The final job level will be determined during the interview process.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with tech executive recruiters and hiring managers to create and implement sourcing strategies for identifying future technology leaders at Coupang.
• Source and approach executive-level candidates independently, converting prospects into candidates for active roles.
• Assess candidates for qualification matches, cultural fit, and compatibility.
• Develop a deep understanding of the e-commerce and tech industries, with a focus on the APAC region.
• Build strong relationships with tech executive recruiters and senior business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with tech executive recruiters to provide a consultative approach to sourcing and talent pipeline development.
• Track project milestones and timelines, adjusting plans as needed to ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years in recruitment or related fields. At least 2 years in executive search within a results-driven environment.
• Demonstrated success in filling 10+ executive-level (Director and above) technology roles—including Back-end Engineering, Product Management, TPM, AI/ML, Data Science & Analytics, and UX Design—within large-scale tech organizations, eCommerce, retail, internet marketplaces, or other high-growth companies.
• Strong customer orientation with a focus on understanding and meeting client needs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication; able to simplify complex topics and engage executive-level candidates globally. Ability to effectively present Coupang's value proposition and conduct in-depth candidate assessments. Native-level fluency in English.
• Highly analytical with proficiency in AI sourcing tools. Skilled in building complex Boolean searches.
• Self-motivated, independent, and adaptable to dynamic, fast-paced, goal-oriented environments.
