- The successful applicant will be aPrincipal Geotechnical Engineerwith a proventechnical and project managementtrack record.
- inimum of 20+ years industrial experience in a similar organisation.
- A strong academic background with a relevant degree (ideally MSc/Meng/MTechor equivalent).
- Chartered status(C.Eng,P.Eng,P.E, or equivalent).
- Proven experience of acting as aPrincipal Geotechnical Engineerin a fast-moving engineering consultancy environment.
- Highly experiencedwith geotechnical analysis software like PLAXIS (2D&3D) SLOPE/W, WALLAP,PDISP,VDISP & REPUTE.
- ProvenGeotechnical design experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and technical skills and the ability to develop and leadGeotechnical design teams.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence to liaise with clients.
- Good commercialtrack recordin negotiating and running successful jobs.
- Excellent report writing skills with the ability to self-check and produceaccuratework.
- A willingness to travel on short assignments bothtothe UK and overseas.
