Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant, SFMC (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) Developer!
In this Role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions that enable personalized, data-driven, and automated customer engagement at scale. You will work closely with marketing, CRM, data, and technology teams to build journeys, campaigns, and automations leveraging SFMC capabilities such as Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Cloud Pages. You will also contribute to solution architecture, best practices, integration patterns, and performance optimization, acting as a key technical expert and advisor for SFMC implementations
Responsibilities
.Design, build, and maintain marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
.Develop and optimize customer journeys using Journey Builder, including entry criteria, decision splits, wait activities, and multi-channel orchestration.
.Create and manage emails, templates, content blocks, and campaigns in Email Studio and Content Builder.
.Implement automations in Automation Studio for data imports, segmentation, triggered sends, and recurring jobs.
.Design and manage Data Extensions, data models, and relationships using Contact Builder.
.Write dynamic and personalized content using AMPscript and SSJS (Server-Side JavaScript).
.Integrate SFMC with Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud and other systems using APIs, connectors, and integration of middleware.
.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable SFMC technical solutions.
.Implement tracking, reporting, and analytics for campaigns, including open/click rates, conversions, and audience behavior.
.Ensure adherence to deliverability of best practices, consent management, and regulatory compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc. as applicable).
.Perform unit testing, UAT support, and production deployment following governance and change management processes.
.Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and support ongoing enhancements in SFMC implementations.
.Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentoring to junior team members.
.Contribute to accelerators, reusable components, and best practices for SFMC within the organization.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
.Bachelor%27s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
.Strong IT experience with exposure to Marketing Automation / CRM platforms.
.Hands-on experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer.
.Strong expertise in key SFMC modules: Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Contact Builder.
.Proficiency in AMPscript and SSJS, including writing complex scripts for personalization and dynamic content.
.Experience working with Data Extensions, segmentation, filters, and relational data models.
.Hands-on experience integrating SFMC with Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud or other CRMs using APIs and connectors.
.Good understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and related integration patterns.
.Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and email development best practices.
.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
.Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer and/or Email Specialist certification(s).
.Experience in multi-channel orchestration (email, SMS, push notifications, in-app, web).
.Exposure to customer data platforms (CDP), customer 360 views, and advanced segmentation strategies.
.Knowledge of marketing concepts such as lead nurturing, lifecycle marketing, and campaign optimization.
.Experience in working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data platforms is an added advantage.
.Familiarity with Git or other version control systems and CI/CD processes.
.Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
.Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with business stakeholders and present solutions clearly.
