Responsibilities:
Infosys Consulting is looking for talented and highly motivated consultants to join our Life Sciences consulting practice. As a Senior Principal / Associate Partner specializing in Pharma Manufacturing, you will lead strategic transformation programs for global pharmaceutical clients, focusing on manufacturing excellence, compliance, and digital innovation.
- Lead strategic business transformation programs in pharma manufacturing, including operational excellence, digital factory initiatives, and Industry 4.0 adoption.
- Manage program planning, execution, and reporting; ensure quality, stakeholder communication, client buy-in, risk mitigation, and budget adherence for successful delivery.
- Engage with senior client stakeholders to define manufacturing strategies and transformation roadmaps.
- Drive sales pursuits in collaboration with Infosys teams; lead proposal development, solution design, pricing, client presentations, and contract negotiations.
- Develop solutions leveraging MES, IoT, AI/ML, automation, and advanced analytics to optimize manufacturing operations.
- Represent Infosys Consulting in industry forums, publish thought leadership, and participate in analyst meetings.
- Contribute to practice development: coach consultants, build capabilities in emerging areas like continuous manufacturing and sustainability.
- Convert industry trends and regulatory changes into opportunities for new offerings and solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
Demonstrates proven success in roles and thorough abilities in one or more of the following areas:
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes (API, formulation, packaging) and regulatory compliance (FDA, EMA, GMP).
- Deep domain knowledge in manufacturing operations, quality systems, and supply chain integration.
- Understanding and experience towards newer/advance manufacturing techniques towards precision medicine e.g. RLT
- Understanding and POV on Insourcing and Outsourcing of Manufacturing through CDMOs
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing systems MES, ERP (SAP), automation platforms, and data analytics tools.
- Minimum of 12+ years of professional experience in Life Sciences industry, with significant consulting experience in manufacturing transformation.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, life sciences, or related field; Master's degree or MBA strongly preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Successful track record in digital manufacturing transformation using Lean/Agile approaches.
- Experience in Industry 4.0 technologies, smart factory solutions, and sustainability initiatives.
- Proven ability to lead strategic discussions with CxO-level stakeholders.
- Prior experience working directly with pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing organizations
