Role Summary
The Senior / Principal Business Analyst is a senior practitioner and player-coach responsible for leading complex business analysis and functional solutioning activities across enterprise implementations.
Beyond delivering successful customer outcomes, the role contributes to the evolution of the Business Analysis practice by developing reusable frameworks, solution patterns, AI-enabled capabilities and best practices that improve consistency, quality and scalability across implementations.
This role combines deep business process and solution design expertise with a continuous improvement mindset, helping teams solve complex customer challenges while strengthening organisational capability.
Role Outcomes
- Solutioning Excellence - Lead business analysis and functional solutioning for enterprise implementations, serving as both a senior practitioner and player-coach to guide teams through complex discovery, solution design and delivery engagements.
- Scalable Business Analysis Capability - Contribute to the growth of the Business Analysis function through AI-enabled capabilities, standardised BA playbooks, reusable frameworks and repeatable methodologies that enable consistent and high-quality delivery outcomes.
- Reusable Solution Excellence - Identify, codify and promote reusable solution patterns across customer verticals, operating models and use cases while driving adoption of best-practice product and solution design principles.
- Continuous Productivity Improvement - Continuously improve BA effectiveness by identifying opportunities to automate, simplify, standardise and templatise business analysis activities across the delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Discovery & Solutioning
- Lead discovery, requirements analysis and functional solutioning for complex enterprise implementations.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to understand business objectives, operating models, processes, business rules and pain points.
- Translate customer requirements into scalable solutions aligned with Facilio capabilities and implementation best practices.
- Design workflows, business processes, operating models, user journeys and configuration approaches that maximise customer value and product adoption.
- Drive clarity and decision-making in complex, ambiguous or evolving business scenarios.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with customers to define business requirements and solution approaches.
- Collaborate with Implementation, Product and Engineering teams to evaluate, refine and deliver solutions.
- Balance customer needs, product capabilities and long-term scalability while recommending best-fit approaches.
- Support solution validation, UAT and implementation readiness activities for strategic initiatives.
BA Practice Development
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of BA playbooks, frameworks, templates and methodologies.
- Create reusable artefacts and solution accelerators that improve delivery consistency and quality.
- Identify recurring implementation challenges and transform project learnings into reusable organisational assets.
- Support adoption of standardised BA practices across implementation teams.
AI, Productivity & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve BA productivity through AI, automation and standardisation.
- Contribute to AI-enabled approaches for discovery, documentation, analysis, validation and knowledge management.
- Promote process simplification, automation and reuse to improve implementation quality and efficiency.
- Support initiatives that improve the maturity, scalability and effectiveness of the Business Analysis function.
Coaching & Capability Building
- Act as a player-coach for Business Analysts and implementation team members.
- Mentor and support colleagues on complex business and solutioning challenges.
- Share solution patterns, implementation learnings and best practices across teams.
- Contribute to onboarding and capability development initiatives within the BA community.
What We're Looking For
Experience
- 6-12 years of experience in Business Analysis, Solution Consulting, Product Consulting, Enterprise Consulting or implementation-focused functional roles.
- Proven experience leading business analysis and solution design activities for enterprise SaaS implementations.
- Experience working with complex business processes, multiple stakeholder groups and cross-functional teams.
- Strong track record of delivering scalable and effective customer solutions.
- Experience mentoring or coaching Business Analysts is desirable.
- Experience developing frameworks, methodologies, standards or reusable delivery assets is preferred.

- Experience creating BA playbooks, methodologies or reusable solution frameworks.
- Experience working in high-growth SaaS environments.
