Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly capable Sr. Consultant / Manager – Presales & Solutioning to lead solution development and presales support for strategic opportunities. This role will work closely with sales, practice, delivery, and leadership teams to shape client-centric solutions, create compelling proposals, and strengthen our positioning across digital, product engineering, data, and cloud-led engagements.

The ideal candidate will have strong consulting and communication skills, experience in solutioning for IT services opportunities, and the ability to convert client requirements into differentiated and executable solution approaches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead presales and solutioning support for qualified opportunities, including discovery, solution shaping, proposal development, and client presentations.
  • Partner with sales, delivery, and practice teams to understand client requirements and define tailored solutions aligned to client goals and company capabilities.
  • Own and drive high-quality responses to RFPs, RFIs, proposals, and pitch presentations.
  • Develop solution storylines, executive summaries, value propositions, and supporting collateral for strategic pursuits.
  • Conduct client presentations, workshops, and solution discussions, clearly articulating both business value and technical approach.
  • Work with architects, SMEs, and delivery teams to define scope, delivery model, assumptions, risks, and dependencies.
  • Support commercial discussions through solution structuring, effort assumptions, and delivery model inputs.
  • Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and technology changes across product engineering, data analytics, AI, and cloud.
  • Build reusable proposal assets, solution templates, and case-study-based content to improve response quality and speed.
  • Ensure effective transition from presales to delivery by communicating scope, commitments, assumptions, and client expectations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. MBA preferred.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in presales, solutioning, consulting, solution architecture, or related client-facing roles in the IT services industry.
  • Strong experience in proposal development, RFP responses, client presentations, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of product engineering, application development, cloud platforms, and data/analytics services.
  • Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Relevant certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud are an advantage.
