Position Summary
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Presales Consultant to support our sales team in crafting tailored cybersecurity solutions. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge of security technologies with excellent communication and solution design skills to address complex customer needs. This role plays a critical part in customer engagement, solution architecture, and proposal development.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Presales Support
- Collaborate with sales to identify client requirements and recommend technical solutions.
- Deliver presentations, demos, and workshops on:
- Cisco Security (SSE, Secure Workload, SNA, ESA, etc.)
- Palo Alto (Prisma Access, Cortex XDR, XSIAM, CNAPP)
- Gruve Services (SOC, Device Management, VAPT, EASM, etc.)
- Develop technical proposals, SoWs, LLDs, and conduct PoCs.
Customer Engagement & Requirement Gathering
- Engage clients to understand security posture, goals, and compliance needs.
- Document meetings, follow up on action items, and support business closure.
- Act as a trusted advisor in security best practices.
Solution Design & Architecture
- Design scalable, secure solutions tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure technical feasibility.
- Prepare architecture diagrams, compliance frameworks, and solution documentation.
Technical Expertise & Market Awareness
- Stay current on cybersecurity trends and threat landscapes.
- Support internal enablement by educating sales teams on technologies and industry shifts.
- Conduct competitive analysis to position Gruve's offerings effectively.
Proposal & RFP/RFI Response
- Support RFP/RFI responses with accurate and compelling technical content.
- Ensure proposals meet client requirements and align with Gruve's capabilities.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity presales, consulting, or advisory roles.
- Strong understanding of firewall, SSE, SIEM, SOAR, workload protection, routing/switching.
- Certifications (e.g., CCIE, CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
- Experience with cloud security and major security vendors (Cisco, Palo Alto, Zscaler, Netskope, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks: ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA.
- Understanding of cloud security in AWS, Azure, GCP environments.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to articulate complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
