Job Title: Senior Pre-Sales & Business Development Manager Coal IndustryJob Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Pre-Sales & Business Development Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the coal industry. The role involves managing pre-sales activities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, generating new business opportunities, preparing quotations, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead pre-sales activities including technical and commercial discussions with clients.
  • Prepare and manage quotations, proposals, and tenders in line with client requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term business partnerships.
  • Identify and acquire new clients and business opportunities within the coal industry.
  • Work closely with sales, operations, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of orders.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable coal products and solutions.
  • Support negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract finalization.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to support business strategy.
  • Ensure achievement of revenue and growth targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, proposals, and client interactions.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pre-sales / business development within the coal industry.
  • Strong understanding of coal products, specifications, pricing, and supply chain processes.
  • Proven experience in client management, revenue generation, and new client acquisition.
  • Hands-on experience in preparing quotations and commercial proposals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong commercial and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and opportunities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
