We are seeking an experienced Senior Pre-Sales & Business Development Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the coal industry. The role involves managing pre-sales activities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, generating new business opportunities, preparing quotations, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead pre-sales activities including technical and commercial discussions with clients.
- Prepare and manage quotations, proposals, and tenders in line with client requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term business partnerships.
- Identify and acquire new clients and business opportunities within the coal industry.
- Work closely with sales, operations, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of orders.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable coal products and solutions.
- Support negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract finalization.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to support business strategy.
- Ensure achievement of revenue and growth targets.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, proposals, and client interactions.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pre-sales / business development within the coal industry.
- Strong understanding of coal products, specifications, pricing, and supply chain processes.
- Proven experience in client management, revenue generation, and new client acquisition.
- Hands-on experience in preparing quotations and commercial proposals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
