Role Overview:
The Practice Lead Intelligent Process Automationis a senior leadership role responsible for driving end-to-end process automation initiatives across multiple platforms including UiPathand Microsoft Power Platform. The role combines presales, solution consulting, project delivery management, and practice leadershipresponsibilities. You will work closely with clients, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, define solution approaches, and ensure successful delivery of automation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Presales & Solution Consulting
- Engage with customers to understand business processes, pain points, and automation opportunities.
- Leadclient discussions, requirement discovery workshops, andprocess walkthroughs.
- Createproposals, estimations, and solution decksfor automation engagements.
- Participate inproposal defense presentations, client pitches, and RFP/RFI responses.
- Collaborate with technical architects and CoE teams to define scalable and reusable automation solutions.
- Prepare & maintain sales collaterals, case studies, show & tells etc.
- Prepare GTM strategy in collaboration with all stakeholder.
2. Practice Leadership & People Management
- Lead theUiPath Practice and hand hold Power Platform initiatives, managing a cross-functional team ofDevelopers, Business Analysts, and Testers.
- Leading show & tells, work on enhancing partnership with product vendors.
- Drivehiring, interviews, onboarding, and performance appraisalswithin the automation team.
- Establish training programs, skill enhancement sessions, and internal certifications for team members.
- Define best practices, templates, reusable components, and delivery standards across automation projects.
- Act as athought leaderrepresenting the practice in client and partner interactions.
3. Technology Expertise
- Deep functional and working expertise inUiPath(Studio, Orchestrator, Insights, Action Center).
- Power Platform Expertise - Deep hands-on experience with Power Apps(Canvas & Model Driven), Power Pages, Power Automate(Cloud & Desktop RPA), Power Platform CoE Tool Kit, Power BI and Dataverse.
- Hands on experience in Agentic AI work on UI path , Power Apps and preferably Python and being able to guide the team.
- Integration Knowledge - Proficiency with REST APIs, Custom connectors, Azure Logic Apps and other integration patterns.
- Azure Services - Familiarity with relevant Azure Services like Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Blob Storage, Key Vault, Vnet, App Services.
- AI Knowledge - Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Chat Bot, AI Builders, Azure AI Foundry, Azure Open AI for effective usage of AI capabilities across Power Platform.
- DevOps & ALM - Experience with Application Lifecycle Management using Azure DevOps, GitHub and deployments using CI/CD pipelines, Power Platform Pipelines, Manual Export & Import.
- Familiarity withAutomation Anywhereor other RPA/DPA tools is an added advantage.
- Awareness ofProcess Mining, Task Mining, and AI-powered automationcapabilities.
- Understanding of API-based automation, integrations, and data exchange between systems.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong experience inRPA lifecycle, Power Apps combined with good knowledge of Python Discovery, Design, Development, Testing, Deployment, and Support.
- Excellentclient-facing, communication, and presentationskills.
- Proven ability to leadpresales effortsand convert opportunities into successful automation projects.
- Stronganalytical and documentationcapabilities.
- Leadership and people management experience, mentoring and guiding large automation teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines where hand holding is needed.
- Familiarity withAgileandWaterfalldelivery methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 12 to 14 years.
- UiPath certifications (e.g.,UiPath Advanced Developer,UiPath Solution Architect) preferred.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g.,PL-100, PL-200, PL-400) are an added advantage.
- CSM, PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Project Management certification is desirable.
