About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Power BI & Power Automate Developer with strong expertise in data visualization, workflow automation, and compliance reporting to support critical batch release and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards and Power Automate workflows that transform raw operational and quality data into actionable insights, enabling faster, compliant decision-making across manufacturing, quality, and inventory functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards for batch release, quality review, and inventory reconciliation.
- Build Power Automate flows to streamline approval cycles, evidence collection, discrepancy reconciliation, and system adjustments.
- Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable BI + automation solutions.
- Develop and optimize DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and workflow triggers.
- Integrate data from ERP (SAP, Oracle), MES, LIMS, and compliance systems.
- Ensure data accuracy, regulatory compliance (GxP/21 CFR Part 11), and audit readiness in all BI/automation solutions.
- Work closely with IT and automation teams to reduce cycle time and increase responsiveness through AI-assisted automation.
- Provide mentoring and reviews for junior developers on BI & automation best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 58 years of experience as a Power BI Developer, with at least 23 years in workflow automation (Power Automate, Logic Apps, or equivalent).
- Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query, and Power Automate.
- Proven experience in regulated industries (pharma, biopharma, life sciences, or manufacturing) with focus on compliance reporting.
- Experience with data integration from ERP/MES/LIMS systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, or similar).
- Strong understanding of data governance, audit readiness, and data security.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP data sources (BW, HANA, S/4HANA) in regulated environments.
- Knowledge of AI-driven automation (agentic AI, workflow bots).
- Certification in Power BI, Power Platform, or Azure Data Engineer/Analyst.
