Job Description

  • Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to meet business needs.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and transform data for reporting and analysis purposes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Create and manage data models and ensure data accuracy and reliability within Power BI.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI DAX calculations to provide advanced analytical insights.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources to create a consolidated and streamlined reporting framework.
  • Ensure performance optimization of dashboards and reports, enabling fast and efficient data analysis.
  • Support troubleshooting and debugging of Power BI reports and data-related issues.
  • Provide documentation and training for end-users to promote self-service analytics.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business users, to ensure seamless integration of data and insights.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications6-8 years of experience in developing reports and dashboards in Power BI.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI DAX for advanced calculations and data analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and data modeling principles.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on large datasets and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Experience with tools such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or other data integration tools (preferred).
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
  • Preferred QualificationsExperience with cloud platforms like Azure
  • Knowledge of other BI tools like Tableau or QlikView is a plus.
  • Certifications in Power BI, SQL, or related technologies.
