We are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer with strong hands-on experience in building, managing, and optimizing complex Power BI reports and models.

The candidate must have solid practical knowledge of Power BI, DAX, data modelling, performance optimization, and Tabular Editor 2.x / 3.x. This is not a basic report-building role. We need someone who can work independently on enterprise-level Power BI models, manage large numbers of measures, improve existing reports, and bring structure and governance to Power BI development.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards
• Working on complex Power BI data models
• Creating, managing, and optimizing DAX measures
• Using Tabular Editor 2.x / 3.x for model management and advanced Power BI development
• Organizing measures using display folders, naming standards, descriptions, and format strings
• Creating and managing calculation groups where required
• Reviewing and improving existing Power BI reports and models
• Optimizing report performance and improving model efficiency
• Managing relationships, filter behavior, and model structure in Power BI
• Cleaning and organizing large Power BI models with multiple tables and measures
• Supporting best practices for Power BI development and governance
• Working independently with business and technical teams to understand reporting requirements

• Power BI Service

• Tabular Editor 2.x / 3.x

• Power BI performance optimization
• Data relationships and filter context
• Report/dashboard development
• Power Query basics

Good to have experience in:

• Advanced DAX optimization
• DAX Studio
• Large enterprise Power BI models
• Working with 100+ measures in a Power BI model
• SQL
• Azure Data Factory / Databricks / Data Warehouse exposure
• Power BI deployment pipelines
• Row-level security
• Version control or structured Power BI development practices

The candidate should be able to use Tabular Editor for:

• Creating and managing calculation groups
• Bulk editing measures and columns
• Managing display folders
• Updating format strings
• Adding descriptions and metadata
• Organizing large Power BI models
• Reviewing dependencies between measures
• Improving maintainability of Power BI models
