SoftClouds is looking for a skilled Power BI Developer with a robust background in designing and implementing solutions using Microsoft Power BI components such as Power Query, DAX, Modeling, Visualization, Services, Fabric. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in analytics, building dashboard, Transformations, Modeling, Calculations, leveraging AI Builder and Copilot and ensuring optimal system performance, governance, and security.
Responsibilities:
- Experience of 3+ years in data preparation, data source integration and databases
- Build and manage semantic models for efficient data representation
- Full understanding of the processes of data quality, data cleansing, and data transformation, M Language
- Comfortable in manipulating, integrating, analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying, variety of sources & creating Composite Models.
- 3 to 4 years of experience working in connecting Power BI to data in schema design.
- Expertise in using advance level DAX calculations on the data set.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports in the Services environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with business management to gather & analyze requirements, translate to technical specifications, prototype design and deploy analytical BI solutions
- Demonstrate analytical thinking skills for translating business data into informative visuals and reports.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for BI solutions.
- Ability to effectively interact with, present information to, and respond to questions from all levels of the organization users

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience designing and developing Dashboards within Microsoft Power BI.
- Implementing row level security and application security layer models in Power BI.
- Proficient in making Data Analytics Expressions (DAX) queries in Power BI desktop.
- Responsible for design methodology and project documentation.
- Developing tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards.
- Developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI Dashboards as per the business requirements.
- Integrating Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics like Power BI service (SaaS), or by API automation. Developing custom visuals for Power BI.
- Evaluating and drawing conclusions from data related to customer behavior
- Partnering with applications managers to ensure each project meets a specific need and resolves successfully
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft PL-300 Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (or equivalent).
- Expertise in Database technologies: SQL, ADF etc.
- Familiar with agile methodologies.
