Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Power BI Resource with strong expertise in business intelligence, data visualization, and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI while working closely with business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Create scalable data models, DAX calculations, KPIs, and visualizations.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Develop and optimize ETL/data transformation processes.
- Integrate Power BI with multiple data sources including SQL Server, APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
- Ensure data accuracy, security, and report performance optimization.
- Work with stakeholders to provide actionable insights and analytics.
- Implement row-level security (RLS) and data governance best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve reporting and data issues.
- Mentor junior developers and support BI strategy initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI development and administration.
- Expertise in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
- Experience working with large datasets and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience integrating Power BI with cloud and enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in BI/Data Analytics.
- Experience with AWS or Azure Data Services.
- Understanding of business intelligence architecture and reporting frameworks.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Python or R for analytics.
- Knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, or Big Data platforms.
- Power BI certification is a plus.
- Experience with AI-driven analytics and forecasting.
