Senior Power BI Developer

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a seasoned Business Intelligence Engineer with 5–10 years of experience to lead the design and implementation of our next-generation data ecosystem. You will bridge the gap between raw data and business strategy by building robust data pipelines, interactive visualizations, and low-code applications. The ideal candidate is a Data Polyglot equally comfortable writing Python scripts, optimizing Snowflake warehouses, and building Power Apps to streamline business workflows.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• End-to-End Analytics: Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale dashboards in Power BI.

• Data Engineering & Architecture: Build scalable data pipelines and transformation layers using Databricks, Snowflake, and the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.

• Workflow Automation: Utilize the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) to automate manual data entry and business processes.

• Advanced Analytics: Write production-grade Python for data manipulation, analysis, and integrating Copilot features to enhance user productivity.

• Optimization: Expert-level SQL tuning to ensure high performance across large-scale datasets.

• Governance & Strategy: Establish best practices for data modeling, security, and documentation within the Fabric/Lakehouse environment.

• Expert proficiency in Power BI, specifically utilizing DAX and Power Query for complex data modeling.

• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms: Snowflake, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric.

• Advanced SQL: Mastery of window functions and Common Table Expressions (CTEs).

• Deep knowledge of Pandas and PySpark for data manipulation and big data processing.

• Full mastery of the Power Platform, including building custom solutions with Power Apps and automating logic with Power Automate.

• Practical experience using Microsoft Copilot to accelerate development in DAX, SQL, or general workflow automation.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Education: B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc., or an MBA with a strong technical/analytical focus from a reputable institution.

• Experience: 5–10 years in a BI or Data Engineering role.
