About the Role

We are seeking a Senior PMO Data Analyst to lead data quality, control, and governance across Product delivery. The ideal candidate will perform Release Gate validation, enforce PMO process checks and controls, build executive-level Power BI dashboards, and ensure Azure DevOps data integrity and traceability.

This is a Techno-Functional role (60% technical, 40% functional) requiring strong experience engaging with senior stakeholders. The role involves auditing, cleansing, and consolidating data in alignment with Leadership requirements, as well as identifying gaps in data and process flows to establish a single source of truth.

Experience in change management and driving consensus across large groups is a strong plus.

Key Position Responsibilities Include:

Data Quality and Governance

  • Own the correctness and quality of all PMO data, including:
  • Business case data, resource allocation, financial approvals, OKRs, change requests, risk and dependency logs, and PMO dashboards.
  • Audit data correctness and completeness across systems and tools such as ADO, Aha!, SharePoint, etc.
  • Define data flow design, validation rules, and governance mechanisms.
  • Identify and correct inconsistent status flows, missing financial/resource fields, orphaned work items, and misaligned release tagging. Partner with Delivery teams and the PMO to enforce data standards.

Power BI Dashboarding & Executive Reporting (Expert Level Required)

  • Design and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards covering portfolio health, release readiness, resource capacity vs. allocation, OKR tracking, change management impact, approval cycle time, and delta/variance reports.
  • Build data models integrating Azure DevOps, financial systems, PMO data, and other offline data sources.
  • Ensure dashboards are automated, scalable, and governed with proper access controls.

Process Improvement & Data Control Design

  • Design standardized data control policies to establish and maintain a single source of truth.
  • Reduce manual reporting efforts and eliminate data inconsistencies.
  • Establish clear ownership of data inputs and outputs across teams.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in Data Analytics / Business Intelligence.
  • 3+ years in portfolio governance, PMO analytics, or release governance.
  • Experience supporting executive-level decision-making forums.
  • Strong experience working with cross-geographical teams across multiple time zones.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to map requirements to technical documentation
  • Power BI – Intermediate to Advanced.
  • DAX – Intermediate to Advanced.
  • Power Automate – Intermediate to Advanced.
  • Data modelling experience (star schema, performance optimization).
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps and its APIs.
  • Good to Have:
  • SQL (Advanced) / VBA (Expert).
  • Experience with other data analytics tools.
  • Project management / team management.
