The Role
Zeno is seeking a PLM Senior Engineer to lead end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes, system configuration, data governance, and engineering change management across vehicle programs. This role is critical to ensuring accurate product data, seamless integration between engineering and manufacturing systems, and enabling scalable product development workflows for Zeno's electric two-wheeler platform.
What You'll Do
- Lead PLM system Implementation ,configuration, administration, and customisation (Teamcenter ).
- Build and manage product structures (EBOM, MBOM, SBOM) across mechanical, electrical, and software domains.
- Drive engineering change management through ECR/ECN/ECO workflows ensuring accuracy, traceability, and timely releases.
- Ensure strong PLMCAD integration and support design teams using NX / Creo / CATIA.
- Collaborate with IT and ERP teams to ensure seamless data flow between PLM and ERP systems (Odoo).
- Establish and maintain data governance standards including part numbering, metadata, revision control, and documentation templates.
- Conduct regular audits of product structures, metadata accuracy, and engineering change adherence.
- Enable cross-functional collaboration with design, supply chain, quality, manufacturing, and program management teams to support product development cycles.
- Drive continuous improvement of PLM processes through workflow optimisation, automation, and system enhancements.
- Support onboarding and training for engineering and operations teams on PLM best practices.
- Troubleshoot PLM workflow, permission, integration, and data issues to ensure uninterrupted program execution.
- Ensure PLM workflows support Zeno's rapid development cycles and high-volume manufacturing readiness.
What You Bring
- 710 years of experience working with PLM systems in automotive, EV, aerospace, or heavy engineering industries.
- Hands-on expertise in PLM platforms (Teamcenter / Windchill / 3DEXPERIENCE / ENOVIA).
- Strong understanding of BOM management, configuration control, and engineering release processes.
- Experience supporting CAD data management and integrations with NX / Creo / CATIA.
- Experience with ERP integration and understanding of product-to-manufacturing data flow.
- Strong understanding of engineering processesdesign release, document control, change management.
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
- Willingness to relocate to Bengaluru and collaborate closely with engineering and program teams.
