Role: Senior Platform Test Engineer

About the Job:

The world is entering a new era of Generative AI and Data Governance. Having the right technology guardrails are very critical for successful adoption of these technologies. Privacy Engineering and Responsible AI are going to be strategic in building these guardrails for AI to LLM to AGI. We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Testing Engineer with over 4 years of experience in software testing, particularly in platform environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Rest Assured.
• Design and implement test scenarios using frameworks like Cucumber or TestNG.
• Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure the platform's quality.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand platform requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues.
• Perform smoke testing to ensure basic functionality of the platform.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on the quality of the platform.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
• Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, soak, and scalability tests.
• Analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve performance issues.
• Develop and maintain test scripts using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or Neoload.
• Define performance metrics, SLAs, and benchmarking criteria.
  
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 3 years of experience in software testing.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python programming.
• Extensive experience with Selenium for automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API testing.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, and integration testing principles.
• Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Experience with other testing tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
