Qualification:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Professional Experience:

• 5+ years in the software industry, with 3+ years in a senior developer/leader role, focusing on designing, developing, and delivering scalable software products.

Core Skills:

• Python and Java programming
• Terraform or Ansible
• Docker and Kubernetes

1. Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes.
2. Strong experience in automating infrastructure using Terraform or Ansible.
3. Preferred experience in CI/CD development and deployment across multi-cluster, multi-region, and multi-architecture systems.
4. Hands-on experience with any major cloud platform (e.g., OCI, AWS, or Azure) is essential.
5. Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues, minimizing downtime in production environments.
6. Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including configuration and troubleshooting in a cloud based environment.
7. Good knowledge of cloud security practices.
8. Experience in Java programming, with a good understanding of design principles, concurrency, and software development best practices.
9. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adopt new tools, technologies, and methodologies in Oracle OCI based DevOps environment.
10. Proven ability to collaborate within a team, with excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Software Development:

• .Work on Data Plane and Control Plane components of Oracle OCI IoT
  .Docker and Kubernetes hands on with Terraform
  .Improve and troubleshoot infrastructure components for IoT on Oracle OCI.
  .Partner with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, and Development, to ensure smooth operations and high-quality software delivery.
  .Enhance development efficiency by designing highly available (HA) systems and implementing security best practices.
  .Perform code reviews, optimize code for performance, and provide technical feedback.
  .Stay updated on Java, DevOps, cloud technologies, and emerging industry trends.

Software Development and Coding - Design, Testing, and Optimization:

• Designs software solutions and analyzes and helps identify requirements to achieve business and operational goals, independently.

• Adheres to and suggests improvements to all phases of the software development lifecycle.

• Utilizes working knowledge to develop new software features and enhancements following design specifications and develops documents to clarify software design and code.

• Leads code reviews in designated areas to help drive improvements.

• Conducts debugging and troubleshooting to identify and fix moderately complex software issues. Develops fixes for identified issues.

• Implements software testing (e.g., functional and non-functional testing), quality assurance processes, software error logging, monitoring, and observability for effective debugging, ensuring review by manager and/or lead throughout the process.

• Exercises judgment and discretion to conduct performance profiling and optimization of coding.

• Troubleshoots and resolves moderately complex issues related to application programming interface (API) functionality and integration.

• Implements moderately complex API versioning, lifecycle, and interoperability strategies.

Software Architecture - Software System Structural Design:

• Designs and develops software, systems, and services aligned to pre-defined system architecture.
