Senior Platform Engineer

Milestone Technologies is currently searching for a Lead Software Engineer candidate to join our IT Development team.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain responsive web and mobile applications using React, React Native, and Angular.

• Build reusable UI components and ensure high performance across devices and browsers.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA teams, and Backend Developers to deliver high-quality features.

• Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, retrospectives, and project meetings as required.

• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Debug and resolve production issues related to frontend applications and API integrations.

• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following coding standards and best practices.

• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.

• Work with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements.

• Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies, frameworks, and development practices.

• Have a basic understanding of backend technologies and contribute to API integration and debugging activities.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure quality through unit and integration testing.

Skills

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in frontend development.

• Strong experience in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Hands-on experience with React.js and React Native.

• Good experience with Angular and component-based architecture.

• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, or NgRx.

• Experience in developing responsive and cross-platform applications.

• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and API integration concepts.

• Understanding of frontend build tools such as Webpack, Vite, Babel, and npm/yarn.

• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Basic knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and backend concepts.

• Understanding of authentication mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth.

• Knowledge of application performance optimization and debugging tools.

• Experience with unit testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Jasmine is a plus.

• Previous experience in product-based, e-commerce, or fintech companies is preferred.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
