Senior Platform Engineer

Key Responsibilities •

Build reusable platform services, templates, golden paths and self-service capabilities. • Design and automate cloud-native infrastructure across Azure and/or AWS. • Build and operate Kubernetes-based platform services. • Implement GitOps deployment patterns using Flux CD and/or Argo CD. • Create CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. • Build reusable infrastructure modules using Terraform and Crossplane. • Embed security, RBAC, policy, observability and, cost guardrails into platform patterns. • Work with architects, SREs, security and product teams to standardize platform delivery.

Skills MUST-HAVEs •

• Crossplane using Azure
• Kubernetes
• Helm, GitOps (Flux)

Cloud: Strong hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS; cloud networking, identity, security and governance. • Kubernetes: Strong experience with Kubernetes, containers, workload deployment, RBAC, ingress, secrets and production operations. • GitOps: Hands-on experience with Flux CD and/or Argo CD for deployment automation and environment promotion. • CI/CD: Strong experience with GitHub Actions, release workflows, rollback patterns and Git-based engineering practices. • IaC: Strong experience with Terraform, reusable modules, state management and environment-based provisioning. • Crossplane: Working knowledge of Crossplane, control plane concepts, compositions, claims and platform APIs. • Programming (Dev): Good scripting or development skills in Python, Go, TypeScript, Java or PowerShell. • Observability: Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, Dynatrace or equivalent tools. • Engineering Mindset: Strong automation focus with experience creating reusable patterns and supporting production systems.
