Job Description
Develop and maintain project schedules: Create detailed project schedules using appropriate software tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and ensure that schedules are updated regularly to reflect progress, delays, and changes.Conduct project analysis: Perform critical path analysis, resource allocation analysis, and schedule risk analysis to identify potential issues, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization.Collaborate with project stakeholders: Work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and other stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and constraints. Obtain inputs from team members to create accurate schedules and plans.Monitor project progress: Track project activities, milestones, and deliverables against the established schedule. Identify and report any deviations, delays, or risks to the project team and propose corrective actions.Handling multiple projects & Central planning activitiesResource management: Coordinate with the project team to ensure that resources (manpower, equipment, materials) are available as per project requirements. Identify resource constraints and propose solutions to optimize resource utilization.Risk management: Identify potential risks and uncertainties that may impact project schedules. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize project delays and disruptions.Change management: Assess the impact of scope changes, variations, and delays on project schedules. Evaluate change requests and work with the project team to incorporate approved changes into the schedule.Progress reporting: Prepare and present regular progress reports, including schedule performance indicators, key milestones, and critical activities, to project stakeholders and senior management.
